I moved from Austria to the San Francisco Bay Area in 1999 and after several years of working as a consultant for various technology startups and fortune 500 companies I decided to get involved in organizing sporting events and co-founded Sports4good in 2001. Being a sports enthusiast all my life and working for several start-up companies encouraged me to start my own business which led to the formation of Norcalathletics in 2004 which focuses on amateur team sports.
Michael Finger

Mike is a professed outdoor junkie. When he is not skiing the Tahoe backcountry or climbing in the Sierras you can find him helping out with NorcalAthletics. Michael was on the University of Texas Cycling Team thru college before he discovered climbing. After coming to the Bay Area, he discovered telemark skiing and mountaineering. He is also active with Bay Area Search and Rescue and is a licensed EMT.
