Norcalathletics mission is to provide a wide range of high quality sport and social events for the surrounding community. We promote and reinforce teamwork, personal accomplishment, mutual respect, integrity, competition, recreation, as well as skill building and exercise. Whether you're a weekend warrior or play to win,Norcalathletics has an event for you. Our events run weekdays in the evenings and on the weekends. Not competitive? Paul Heuberger

Founder Norcalathletics, 2004

Paul moved from Austria to the San Francisco Bay Area in 1999, and after several years of working as a consultant for various technology startups and fortune 500 companies he decided to get involved in organizing sporting events and co-founded Sports4good in 2001. Being a sports enthusiast all my life and working for several start-up companies encouraged me to start my own business which led to the formation of Norcalathletics in 2004 which focuses on amateur team sports.


Michael Finger

Vice President, NorCalAthletics

Mike is a professed outdoor junkie. When he is not skiing the Tahoe backcountry or climbing in the Sierras you can find him helping out with NorcalAthletics. Michael was on the University of Texas Cycling Team thru college before he discovered climbing. After coming to the Bay Area, he discovered telemark skiing and mountaineering. He is also active with Bay Area Search and Rescue and is a licensed EMT.


Jose "Macho" Figueroa

Camp Director, Head Coach, Referee, NorCalAthletics

Professional Soccer Player for 15 years. 1975-1981: C.D. VIDA Honduras for 6 years. Played 65 games with the National Team of Honduras and scored 33 goals. Played in the 1982 World Cup in Spain with the National Team of Honduras. Macho was drafted after the World Cup to play with the Real Murcia Spain from 1982-1987 in 1st Division. He received his coaching license in 1992 in Madrid Spain, and also holds a B license in California.
